WPIAL Class 2A 2017 Preview

Class 2A

Three Rivers:

Steel Valley- With a dominant season where they let Class 2A know who king was, can the Ironmen repeat? With their leading rusher and quarterback gone, the Ironmen will need players to step up and fill two giant holes. With a dominant defense led by Amonte Strothers, he looks to control opposing offenses. Do the Ironmen have what it takes to replace and reload for another title run?

Riverside- After losing three games in 2016 to just two different opponents, the Panthers look to fix that problem. With Neshannock losing a lot of key talent, the Panthers believe it can be their year to take over the Midwestern conference. Look for Riverside to get past the hump and advance to the WPIAL Championship.
